Improve public spaces

What's your background?

I’m a Costa Rican college student who wants to keep our streets and public spaces clean and green for everyone. I was introduced to Vrbs by @valesol01 and immediately wanted to contribute!

What will you be doing?

I will make the most of my walking and driving around San Pedro (Costa Rica’s “college city”) to periodically pick up the trash that people leave around and that destroys the look of our city. People might follow the example and start contributing to the cause too.

Time you can commit

I can set aside 4-6 hours a week to focus on this more proactively, but I’ll also try to pick up trash that I come across casually instead of just leaving there

Why you care about Vrbs?

I love the idea of rewarding people for improving our communities. It’s a shame that the government and other organizations don’t pay attention to this and leave the cities to rot, but it’s amazing that we can support each other through Vrbs!
