Illustrators Residency

We're looking for illustrators to represent us as the first ever Vrbs Artists in Residence.

Create artwork on your own terms, and get paid every second to do it!

Responsibilities

• Regular Creation and Sharing: Artists should regularly create and share their Vrbs art on platforms such as X and Farcaster to maintain a strong presence and engagement with the community.
• Integration of Vrbs Culture: Artwork is encouraged to incorporate the Vrbs symbol ▀▄▀ or other elements that reflect and promote Vrbs culture and values.
• Revenue Sharing for Voting Power: When minting or auctioning residency art, artists are encouraged to split a portion of the revenue with the Vrbs treasury to earn votes and contribute to the growth of the movement.

Process

• Applications will happen on a rolling basis, with decisions for the first cohort announced 6/10 at noon EST.
• Sudojames and rocketman will review all the applications and decide based on previous activity in Vrbs, community engagement, and audience reach.
• We are accepting 2-3 artists for the initial batch. As the budget grows, we will accept more artists.

Artists! You are the lifeblood of Vrbs. Beyond the rough guidelines above, you have full creative freedom as a member of this program. Let your imagination run wild.
